The Evening

An old Anatolian craft, laid out on your table.

For centuries, artisans across Turkey built these lamps and panels one shard of glass at a time. We hand you the same glass, the same tools, and a guide who has done it a thousand times — then let you find your own colors.

Everything is provided

Twelve shades of hand-cut glass, beads, adhesive, tools, and your base — all set out and ready. Just bring yourself.

Guided by Turkish artisans

You are never left staring at a pile of glass. Every step is shown, and every hand at your table is helped.

Tea & Turkish delight

Sip Turkish tea and nibble lokum while you work. On evening sessions, bring your own wine, too.

Choose Your Craft

How It Works

From bare glass to glowing keepsake, in four steps.

Step 1

Choose your design

Pick a lamp or a panel, then your palette from twelve shades of glass. No two ever match.

Step 2

Cut & place

Set each piece of glass and every bead by hand. This is the meditative part — and the fun.

Step 3

Grout at home

Leave with a grout kit and simple steps. Twenty minutes at your counter, then let it cure overnight.

Step 4

Light it or hang it

Add the cord we provide and switch your lamp on — or hang your panel on the wall.

Good to Know

Questions, answered.

Do I need any experience?

None at all. Every workshop is fully guided from the first piece of glass to the last bead. Most guests are first-timers, and everyone leaves with a finished lamp or panel.

What's the difference between a lamp and a panel?

A mosaic lamp is a glass globe you cover in colored glass and light from within. A mosaic panel (mozaik tablo) is a flat, framed piece of glass art for your wall. Same craft, same evening — you choose which to make.

How long does it take?

Between 1.5 and 2.5 hours, depending on the size you choose. Smaller pieces are quicker; the grand globe and framed mirror take the longest.

What ages can join?

Ages 8 and up. Younger makers are welcome at private kids' parties with a grown-up alongside them.

Can I bring wine?

Yes — our evening sessions are BYOB. Bring wine or beer to enjoy while you create. (No hard liquor, per New Jersey rules.)

When do I take my piece home?

The same night. You'll do a quick 20-minute grouting step at home, let it cure overnight, then light your lamp or hang your panel.
